"The French House" evolved from small beginnings in 1995, opening its first shop on Micklegate in York and has gone on to engender a great deal of loyalty amongst its regular customers as well as becoming part of the York experience for many visitors from all over the UK and overseas.
We now spend up to 20 weeks a year searching for interesting items in France ensuring a constant stream of new pieces coming into the showroom and warehouse.
The sheer volume of stock however means that we here in York are unable to record everything on the website - less that 50% of all our pieces are shown - but we are always happy to take email or telephone enquiries
